How to finance the home construction
Most buyers intend on using the proceeds from the sale of their current home to help fund their Grapetree home purchase. Since most of our customers either own their homes free and clear or have a large equity, we can provide assistance in locating optimal financing options. A bridge loan or equity line of credit against the current home can be obtained to make payments during the construction process. Another option is an all-in-one construction loan or regular mortgage loan.
Pathway to future services
Residents live independently in their homes at Grapetree as long as possible with Touchmark on South Hill services available on an “a-la-carte” basis. If at some point more permanent assistance is necessary, Grapetree residents have priority, should they choose to move to Touchmark on South Hill’s main building (a few blocks away). Touchmark services include a dining room and café, beauty salon, numerous activities both on and off campus, a computer room, cards and billiards, crafts, live music, scheduled transportation, household help, and various levels of health services.
